The Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen (Association of German Foundations) invites you to the 75th anniversary of the Deutscher Stiftungstag (German Foundation Day). AusserGewöhnlich Berlin is proud to be responsible for the networking concept of the Congress in this special anniversary year.
The anniversary event will take place from 10 to 12 May at the Station Berlin. As Europe's largest foundation congress, the Deutscher Stiftungstag offers around 2,000 participants the opportunity to network and exchange ideas in workshops, discussions and lectures.
The highlight of the event is the Anniversary Ceremony on the 11th of May in Station Berlin. In addition, participants can expect a diverse program, including meetings with like-minded people, networking, exchange of opportunities, and the big general assembly. The opening of the Deutscher Stiftungstag will be accompanied by a video message from the Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Everyone who buys a ticket for the Networking at Deutscher Stiftungstag will receive a FREE crash course on sustainable networking and cooperation by 17ACADEMY.
The world's first educational platform for SDG 17 ("Partnerships and Networking") offers participants the opportunity to improve their networking skills right before the Deutscher Stiftungstag and to fully prepare for the anniversary celebration.
Special highlights of the Networking at Deutscher Stiftungstag are two morning salons curated by our Foundation AusserGewöhnlich Berlin:
Here, participants can make new contacts and strengthen their network in a relaxed, familiar atmosphere.
The first salon will take place on May 11th, directly before the start of the Foundation Day, at the Berlin station. The second Salon on May 12th offers regional foundation networks from all over Germany the opportunity to build nationwide connections and partnerships.

What is Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen?
The Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen is the central hub for all German foundations.
With over 4,800 members, it is the largest and oldest association of foundations in Europe, representing the interests of German foundations in politics and society.
Around 9,800 foundations are affiliate members via their administrations. Each year, foundations in Germany invest at least 5.4 billion euros to promote the common good.
Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen supports its members and founders by advising and networking them in their work.
As an umbrella organization they advocate for foundation issues, improves foundation performance, and fosters dialogue between foundations, policy makers, and the public.
